What Are You Buying?

Well, to be honest, I first bought it because of all the hype. I mean, the ittle Andoid Tablet is hands down the British’s best-selling premium kid’s tablet and an award winner for Pete’s sake. You have to recognise the effort. But as always, I never trust anyone else’s opinion, so I sought my own.

The first thing you notice is the large 7” custom widescreen that makes viewing much more comfortable for the young ones. But large is nothing if you don’t have quality. So while I think the high-quality gorilla glass is incredibly durable, I’ve got some pretty destructive lads wondering around my house so we’ll see how that works out.

And speaking of house, I don’t encourage the use of wifi (or internet for that matter). That’s why I loved the 32 GB sd card slot that allows users to save all the music, games, movies, cartoons, and educational content all without going online.

Still being honest, I just wanted something that works, so I’m not usually too keen on the specifications. However, I know most of you are so here we go. This 7-inch tablet from ittle boasts of a Mediatek Quadcore with an Octa Core GPU, MP4 processor, 1 Gb ram and 8Gb of internal storage space.

The 2MP dual camera may not be the best quality, but it gets the kids excited so there’s that. There’s also an HDMI port to connect it to my computer, Bluetooth for easier media exchange, and FM radio for their favourite radio shows.

How Easy Is It To Use?

My son with the tablet…

Being basically a training slash functional tablet for kids, the ittle 7″ Quad Core Tablet is very user-friendly.

Thanks to the larger screen and generously sized icons, my son could navigate through it quite fast.

But that’s all made possible by the fast and stable Android software that delivers relatively quick app launch and performance.

Having the latest Android software also helps things a lot, and so do all the educational apps and include games. But if you want to add to the list, Google Play store has thousands of free kids apps including Nickelodeon. Disney, and a lot more.

The WIFI and Bluetooth also connect in seconds for secure surfing and media exchange. And just to make sure that the young ones don’t misbehave, you can use the parental controls to limit both the access to suitable content and time spent on the tablet.

What Accessories Are Included?

You can expect the following items with each purchase:

  • ittle Tablet
  • Tablet case
  • Charger
  • Manual
  • Stylus Pen
  • OTG and USB leads

What Do We Think About It?

Pros

  • Award-winning PC tablet for kids
  • Excellent quality and generously sized display
  • Loaded with all sorts of kids apps

Cons

  • Tends to freeze when dealing with heavy applications

Anything Else You Should Know?

As I mentioned above, I don’t really trust that Gorilla glass; especially not around my son. I’ll admit that it really has incredibly display quality for the price. But you might want to invest in a screen protector if you want to keep it that way. Kids aren’t really as gentle as they seem, so don’t get too surprised if the tablet gets all scratched up, cracked, or broken in a few weeks. Either way, all your kids’ toys need protectors these days.

Conclusion

Affordable, lightweight, loaded with all sorts of features and applications for miles, the ittle Android Tablet is clearly meant for kids of all ages. The generously sized icons and display make it convenient while the vibrant software and graphics make learning quite fun and entertaining. Factor in the strict parental controls and it’s obvious that any caregiver would appreciate all the work that ittle put into this tablet.
