It comes with most of the features you find in mainstream TVs including 4K display and HDR, but at a cheaper price. The Hisense 43A6KTUK is great as the main TV in your home or as a secondary TV for your bedroom or any other space. Here’s my full review, including its pros, cons and specs.

What Are You Buying?
1. 43 Inch 4K TV
The Hisense 43A6KTUK is one of the best value 4K TVs you’ll find. If you’ve always wanted a 4K TV but never had the budget for one, this is a great pick. It’s also perfect for gamers who are shopping for an affordable 4K TV that is compatible with 4K consoles like the PS5 or the Xbox Series X.
At 43 inches, the Hisense 43A6KTUK is on the smaller side. But it works great for small living rooms or as a second TV for your bedroom.
Note that the Hisense smart 4K tv has a true 4K Ultra HD display. It’s not one of those budget ‘4K’ TVs that use upscaling. Upscaled 4K content is not bad, but the true 4K display on the Hisense 43A6KTUK looks a lot better and more realistic.
2. DLED Display
Another improvement of the Hisense 43A6KTUK compared to other TVs in this price range is the LED display technology it uses.
With most LED tvs, the lighting is placed around the edges of the screen. The Hisense 43A6KTUK uses a different type of LED called direct LED or DLED.
DLED displays have LED lights directly behind the screen. This provides evenly distributed lighting across the display.
The DLED display on the Hisense 43A6KTUK creates brighter pictures and better contrast when watching. It’s not quite at the level of pricier OLED or QLED TVs, but it provides a significantly better watching experience compared to traditional LED TVs.

How Easy Is It To Set Up?
Setting up the Hisense 43A6KTUK smart 4K TV is fairly easy. It comes with a stand, so you don’t need to do any installation. If you prefer mounting it, you’ll need to buy a mounting kit separately and find a pro to mount it for you.
Once you set it up and plug it in, connect it to your WiFi then follow the onscreen instructions to start watching.
Note: The power cable is 1.2m long. If you are setting it up in the bedroom, check that there is a power outlet within reach of where you plan to put the TV.

If you want to mount the TV, you’ll need to buy a 200 x 300 bracket separately. If you want to watch FreeView content, you’ll need an aerial. The Hisense TV already has a built-in Freeview HD digital tuner, so you don’t need a set top box, only the aerial.
