As mentioned above, the kettle is made from plastic, but despite this, it’s very strong and sturdy. And though the kettle has boil dry protection, it’s not wise to let the kettle boil dry. Doing so will gradually damage the heating element and reduce its effectiveness.
It’s also worth noting that the flex is black. Only the kettle and base are cream. While the color combination may be off, it is an excellent kettle that gets the job done.
